Sam Koff (aka Skoff) is a trumpeter and producer known for horn-forward, cinematic compositions blending jazz and hip-hop.

In addition to his own music and his work as a trumpeter with No BS! Brass, he’s produced for McKinley Dixon on Beloved! Paradise! Jazz? and Magic Alive — albums with critical acclaim and major syncs, including EA Sports and national ad campaigns.

The album is written and produced by DJ Fleg and includes musicians from all over the east coast. It features brass arrangements and trumpeting from Koff, along with a horn section from Richmond, VA. Throwback: Blood Moon Band at MST Anniversary

The band was formed to play live during bboy battles at the jam. Music was mostly throwback bboy songs. But the very last song was a surprise: Shiki no Uta, the closing theme from Samurai Champloo. The video made its way to Minmi (the original singer), who commented that Nujabes would have loved it.
